Michael grew up in River Ridge, Louisiana and graduated from Ecole Classique in 1997. In 2002, Michael earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana. In 2000 and while in Hammond, Michael enlisted in the United States Army National Guard and joined the 205th Engineering Battalion which deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2003. After Hurricane Katrina, the 205th Engineering Battalion was activated and Michael participated in the rebuilding process.
Seeking to further his education, Michael enrolled at Loyola University School of Law where he earned his J.D. Upon graduation and admittance to the Louisiana State Bar, Michael worked for a small firm in the corporate sector and occasionally represented injured persons. Michael found a passion for the latter and joined The King Firm.
